Two years ago I had my dog bite me and it scared me to death. Fast forward, we got a puppy and I was so scared he would turn out aggressive too. Not only did miles train my dog, but he trained me in how to actually love my dog instead of fearing him! Our dog loves miles! Gets extremely excited everytime he sees him! To me, that says a lot about a trainer. We are on our way to having a dog who can be off leash in any circumstance!

Our mini Aussiedoodle is 10 weeks old and quite a handful and we were looking forward to his first training day. Miles was great, very relaxed, and he immediately bonded with our little guy who normally would just go crazy when seeing new people. Miles go him to remain calm for the training period and explained a number of things that we need to do to help our puppy become all he can be, as well as to stop using our hands as teething objects. I'm confident we'll be able to manage our puppy better thanks to Miles and we look forward to another training session and plan to keep working with Miles so that our puppy can become a solid citizen and a welcome member of our family.

We have only and so many good things to say about Miles and Canine Coach Hawaii! Our 3 year old rescue hound mix started showing aggressive behavior toward numerous people this past year...-along with over excitement, leash pulling, the general manners list goes on. But, we were shocked and had no idea what to do. I was personally so stressed and worried for her that I think I even made it worse most times. It’s terribly frustrating when you don’t know how to help your animal that you love so much. Long story turned super short- My search led us to meet with Miles- as Harley was trying to nip at him after giving her treats- Miles was still cool and calm- I knew his personality was the perfect fit for Harley. He saw past her initial reactions and was never intimidated by her. It immediately made me feel calm and made me feel like there was hope for her. Two weeks later & this over excited/ aggressive mutt is taking treats nicely from our neighbors, not pulling me on the leash, sleeping in the same room as our cat, staying in “place” as I do my morning workouts.. Walks do not feel like chores for me...no more stopping every 2 min trying to keep her from pulling me towards all the other dogs!! I could go on...seriously...life changing. We can now enjoy time with our girl Harley Babe-i-son...stress free!! THANK YOU MILES!! Aloha, Mauka is my 1and 1/2-year-old Poi Dog who was found on the beach on the west side. He's really loving, super good with other dogs, and all in all a really good personality. Sadly we had multiple bad run-ins with vets, which has contributed to maukas uncertainty of people now. He's not super bad with reacting, but he's very unpredictable. I have tried four different training companies, which have led me to feel like I wasn't a good dog mom. However, after speaking to Miles he has made me feel confident in helping Mauka be his best version of himself. Of course, as a rescue being found around 3 weeks old and not with his mother, he didn't get proper socialization during the crucial period in his early life but now I am confident that Miles and his team can help Mauka and myself thrive to be the best Mom and dog duo we can be. Miles is above and beyond, it doesn’t feel like you’re working with a company but working with some great friends with great hearts who just want the best for your little furry friend. Our dog did boarding and training for 3 weeks due to aggression towards strangers/dogs, separation anxiety, and just basic obedience. We now have confidence in being able to control her in any situation, our dog knows how to play nicely, and listens to me very well. Miles also helped us understand that our dog has a little bit higher level of anxiety than normal which means she has certain triggers, and of course he helped us recognize those triggers. We are so grateful for the follow up lessons, group classes, and his personal line for whenever we have a questions. 100/10 would recommend Canine Coach and will definitely come back to train our puppy. He happily helps with ALL areas that your pup has issues with.

Miles is an awesome trainer who was able to help me train my 10 week old puppy and my 4 year old GSD Service Dog! He is knowledgeable and I could see really positive results almost instantly with my pup's crate training. Miles is such an Incredible dog trainer . My puppy is just six months old and I wanted some help with the training. Miles is very professional we met for a free consultation where he met my puppy and my self. He went over his detailed services he could provide for my puppy. I decided I wanted a lot of consistency for her so I signed up for his 14 day program to board her at his home. He let me go over and check his place out that had a huge fenced in yard and very safe . He also let us go over a few times before she said with him to get used to his place. He sent photos , and videos as well. After the 14 days he even followed up with an appointment to make sure she was doing the training with me. Consistency is key so as the puppy owner now it’s up to me to make sure she’s doing her new skills. After just 14 days she has learned so much I can’t believe it! Commands such as sit, come, lay down, Shake , and place . Also the skills when we are walking together to stay by my side. I highly recommend Canine Coach Hawaii Miles. He is very knowledgeable , and reliable !

Definitely recommend Miles to train your dog! We hired him for the two week board and train program on our two-year-old golden doodle and he did such an amazing job! Our pup came back to us the same lovable self he always was but with better manners and less aggression. I love that Miles has given us a dog that we can play catch with and go on hikes with without the fear of him running away!

Miles (along with his assistant trainer) did an amazing job with my dog! I signed him up for the 2 week board and train experience and it was worth every penny. He is so much easier to get under control and Miles was super understanding and diligent in making sure he worked with my dog on the things he needed the most correction on. I love how even after bringing him home the Canine Coach Hawaii family is still there for me if I have any questions or if there are things that aren’t working, they are always willing to give advice on how to further assist my pup in the future. 10/10 would recommend their services to anyone looking!

Miles, Zeus' trainer, did a phenomenal job with Zeus! Prior to the 3 week board and train, Zeus was uncontrollable 85% of the time. Now, even my children can work with him, walk him, and deal with him without him jumping, dragging, or nipping us. He is better mannered in public around other dogs and humans. Miles goes beyond the board and train and trains the human to further train the pup. He answers questions and provides solutions to problems, even after the board and train. If there were 20 star reviews available, i would easily award them. Miles was recommended to me by a friend after our darling puppy Chloe joined our family in June 2020. Miles came to our home in HK for a free consultation and I quickly hired him. He is a highly skilled, experienced professional with a lifetime of Dog Training. He quickly established a bond with Chloe and we did a series of puppy training sessions with Miles. As a result Chloe is a sweet, gentle loving puppy who loves to have fun, but will obey commands and follow our lead. I recently hired Miles to board Chloe for 2 days while me and my husband took a staycation and my puppy had so much fun, but more importantly was cared for with love patience and safety.
